R-Series 5'4 Menu | SAGE

123 reviews   |

At 5’4 long and 36L, the R-Series Secret Menu is designed for the optimal blend of paddle-ability and rip-ability.

Because of the added foam under your chest, it catches waves early and often—think of it as a longboarder's favorite small-board.

It packs a lot of volume, so it can be ridden shorter than you might expect.  The wide tail is fantastic for speed-generating, even in smaller surf.

Rugged, Recyclable, and Ready-to-Rip

The materials used in the R-Series surfboards can—and will be—recycled at the end of the board’s life, through our Recycling Loyalty Program. Please refer to our limited warranty for any questions regarding the R-Series surfboard.

R-U-Seriously still reading reviews? Buy it!

So far so good! Got a lot of compliments before I even hit the water. For reference, I’m 6’1” and 185lbs and would honestly rank my surfing skills at the lower side of intermediate. I was worried I would still need wax for grip but needless to say it has plenty of grip. I have only gotten to test it out in small 1-2’ east coast surf ( FL. If you’re curious ) but so far it does well in the gutless stuff we usually have. Waiting for some swell to see how this thing does in better surf. The board def has enough float with 36ish liters and seems to handle similarly to my Quietflight 5’8” Pontoon except I feel like I can beat this board up and not worry as much. I know I was worried about buying a board without the infamous under the arm test, but I can highly recommend this one if you’re on the fence, plus it’s not breaking the bank to acquire. I’m probably going to add the “Joy” to my quiver as well since I like this board so much. Hope this helps whoever reads this. Yew!

Great Board

This thing floats like a mid length and duck dives like something with half the volume. Really good for walled up beachies and goes from 0-60 faster than I thought it would. The fact it is recyclable makes it all the more worth it. Highly recommend buying all three for a complete eco friendly quiver.

Grom Game Changer

Bought this for me to grovel and throw around as well as for my 7 year old son whose learning and what a game changer for him! Forget trying to teach the kiddos on giant boards that they can’t control and pearl every wave, this thing works!!! He just stood up for the first time the other day. Took this one out yesterday for the first time and watched him scratch into a wave stand up and ride all the way to the beach!! Not only that but super fun for papa bear too! Best ever!!!!!

10/10 would recommend to a friend.

This board is not only aesthetically pleasing but it’s got great buoyancy and speed. Fits perfectly in the front seat of my truck. When out of the water, we use this as a decorative item. In the water it shreds . Can’t wait to buy the fiberglass version. Cowabunga dudez.

One board quiver for a part time surfer

So stoked on this board! I just moved back to the east coast after living in San Diego for 6 years. Don’t get to surf as much as I used to so I needed a board that was user-friendly, would travel well and that I knew would work well up and down the east coast if/when I did get the chance to get wet. This board checks all those boxes and some! Looks great, surfs even better (I’ve had fun on several ankle slipper days) and has the ability to punch above its weight when the hurricane swells come through…the environmentally friendly factor is also a huge bonus for me (not to mention the very reasonable price). Couldn’t be happier with my choice as the secret menu is a perfect one board quiver for my situation.
