R-Series 5'4 Menu | SAGE

126 reviews   |

At 5’4 long and 36L, the R-Series Secret Menu is designed for the optimal blend of paddle-ability and rip-ability.

Because of the added foam under your chest, it catches waves early and often—think of it as a longboarder's favorite small-board.

It packs a lot of volume, so it can be ridden shorter than you might expect.  The wide tail is fantastic for speed-generating, even in smaller surf.

Rugged, Recyclable, and Ready-to-Rip

The materials used in the R-Series surfboards can—and will be—recycled at the end of the board’s life, through our Recycling Loyalty Program. Please refer to our limited warranty for any questions regarding the R-Series surfboard.

Foamie fun!!!

It was so much fun, rode it finless behind a boat, and as a twin and quad in the ocean and went great. Super durable and user friendly. Would recommend to anyone!. Good work Almond Fam

Looks Better than it is

It's a quite heavy board for it's size. The parting line is very visible and surface finish is kinda strange. It rides like a longboard (which is fine if that's what you prefer). It's good I guess, but not worth $400.

R-U-Seriously still reading reviews? Buy it!

So far so good! Got a lot of compliments before I even hit the water. For reference, I’m 6’1” and 185lbs and would honestly rank my surfing skills at the lower side of intermediate. I was worried I would still need wax for grip but needless to say it has plenty of grip. I have only gotten to test it out in small 1-2’ east coast surf ( FL. If you’re curious ) but so far it does well in the gutless stuff we usually have. Waiting for some swell to see how this thing does in better surf. The board def has enough float with 36ish liters and seems to handle similarly to my Quietflight 5’8” Pontoon except I feel like I can beat this board up and not worry as much. I know I was worried about buying a board without the infamous under the arm test, but I can highly recommend this one if you’re on the fence, plus it’s not breaking the bank to acquire. I’m probably going to add the “Joy” to my quiver as well since I like this board so much. Hope this helps whoever reads this. Yew!

Great Board

This thing floats like a mid length and duck dives like something with half the volume. Really good for walled up beachies and goes from 0-60 faster than I thought it would. The fact it is recyclable makes it all the more worth it. Highly recommend buying all three for a complete eco friendly quiver.
