Built in collaboration with Jeff Johnson, the Beyond and Back is the first official asymmetrical surfboard in Almond's range.
If you have never surfed an asymmetrical surfboard before, the longer rail line goes on your toe-side giving you more down the line glide and speed, and the shorter rail line goes on your heel side, giving you more responsiveness and a tighter turning radius.
The Beyond and Back features all of the great paddling you expect from an Almond Surfboard, with down-the-line speed and an incredibly loose—yet controlled feeling—turn-ability.
NOTES FROM GRIFFIN:
"The board starts off very neutral with light belly the first 1/2 of the board which leads into a double concave with an exit "vee". Built with similar rocker profiles to our Plez Phez but just a hair more tail rocker on the backhand side and slightly more concave on the forehand (Twin Fin) side of the board."
