The Walks on Water

Super stable—the Walks on Water is the longboard we have cooked up with Andy Nieblas.

It's a bulked-up log, with extra foam for tons of stability under foot.  The wide tail encourages more active footwork, but this board will be tremendous for gaining confidence on the front-third of the board.

Andy likes the fuller rail because it allows him to lay hard into turns, without fear of burying a rail.

BEST FOR: surfers who like loads of foam and stability under their feet.

Happy Walking on Water

So it was two feet and firing this morning down at Old Man's. I was there with my new 9'6 Walks on Water along with 70 of my closest friends. Normally, the increased traffic would bum me out a little but being out there with my new board, I was all smiles :) Super stable from tip to tail; it's a boat! A little wider than what I normally surf and I thought that turning it might be a problem BUT it was not. Changing directions was not an issue at all! It's pretty flat rocker allowed me to get into waves early and often, and made gliding effortless. I found it perfect for a slope'y wave like Old Man's/Sano. Under the right feet, I'm sure it'd rip in beachbreak as well but overall, I feel like it was made for a Sano type wave. The Almond guys were super accommodating in ordering/purchasing the board. Overall, super happy with the Walks on Water. Actually, just waiting to take it out again tomorrow morning! Yewww!

This board will make you surf like Andy Nieblas

This board is a boat. First day out at DoHo and I was already on the nose. Coming from a more traditional log this thing took a little getting used to. You get to just take your time easing into your line and setting up for some tip time. It’s incredibly stable on the nose and just all around fun to ride.
