The "R" in R-Series stands for not one thing, but three... and each one speaks to a value that we carried into this project.

Rugged
The R-Series surfboards are designed to be able to handle the abuse of normal daily use.  Like anything nice, treat it well and it will last a long time. However, if you lose your board into the rocks at Sano, it doesn't have to be a session-ender.  These boards are made from a durable co-polymer foam, with no fiberglass shell, so what would normally be a rail ding may only be a minor bump on an R-Series board.

Recyclable
The construction of the R-Series board, in combination with our partnership with Marko Foam Products, means that your R-Series surfboard never has to see a landfill.  At the end of its useful life, bring it back to us so we can recycle every portion of the board.  As a thank you, we will even give you $50 off a new one.

Ready-to-Rip
We designed the R-Series 5'4 Secret Menu to have the same rails, thickness flow, and bottom contour as the PU foam and fiberglass version that we have been making for almost 10 years.  Which means real surfboard rails without glued seams or unnecessary hard edges in the front 2/3 of the board.

The R-Series board is conveniently wax-free, so it's literally ready to surf straight out of the box.  Just throw in your favorite Futures-compatible quad fins and you're ready to go.  No more bumming wax off strangers in the Blackies parking lot.
