What Happens When You Surf 100 Days in a Row?
Well, our friend @saltynat is about to find out...
Last Monday, Nat announced that she was going to surf for 100 straight days to see how much her surfing would improve. (And to see if she could).
Surfing every day for an extended period equates to: repetition, lots of paddling, big waves, small waves, windy days, glassy days, etc...
I can tell you from personal experience—and from witnessing the progress of friends—that absolutely nothing will improve your surfing like paddling out consistently.
Inspired by the challenge, @capusedan decided to join her. (Albiet the waters in Panama are a bit warmer than Santa Cruz.)
We are only on Day 4 of the 100 day challenge, but we're rooting them on.
From my quick count, it looks like Day 100 will be in early March. Maybe we need to come up with something special to help them celebrate the end of the 100 day milestone. Maybe a special Santa Cruz edition of the Early & Often Surf Club...!?
