Andy Nieblas (@andynieblas) and Makala Smith (@shredsista) are headed to Sardinia this week for a surf trip. If you're like me and you had to google "Sardinia" for a quick refresher on where exactly the island is located, there's a helpful reminder below.
Andy will be taking his 9'9 Walks on Water, as well as this new 7'8 stringerless Joy that he picked up last weekend.
Makala added a 9'6 Lumberjack to her travel quiver.
From what I understand—which is supported by Sardinia's location in the Mediterranean Sea—the waves there are very wind-dependent. Not a lot of long-period ground swell sneaking in through the Strait of Gibraltar.
In any case, excited to see what sort of photos, videos, and stories come from their latest travel adventure.
