First to the Peak
This long-fish, named after a bird, is guaranteed to broaden your horizons about surf equipment.
The Beach Chicken is a big, long fish that blends together some seemingly contradicting elements into a surprising, and delightful surfing experience.
Our RAD doodling amigo, Kevin Butler (@kbut) was the creative force that encouraged us to explore longer fishes (and named it the Beach Chicken). Without his excitement for this previously unexplored area of surfboard design, the Beach Chicken (and the Mega Beach Chicken) would never have been born.
So, what's the big deal with these big fish boards anyway?
Thanks for asking... the Beach Chicken marries crazy-early-wave-catching with the fluid rail-to-rail flow that you love about your favorite small fish.
Because of the length, they glide and trim with great ease and speed.

Kbut's enthusiasm for this model has been well-justified. The crew around the shop has taken a particular liking to this model, especially in lined-up surf.
If you're looking for an answer to the middle range of your surfboard quiver, and have an affinity towards the fluidity of twin fins... the Beach Chicken might just be the early bird you've been searching for.
