How Are R-Series Recycled?

How Are R-Series Recycled?

If you want to learn more about our Recycling program for our R-Series line of surfboards—look no futher—we made a short video about the process and the heart behind what lead to this project.

When we set out to build the R-Series line of boards, we wanted to build something fun, functional, durable, and ultimately something that would reduce manufacturing waste and be recycled into more surfboards at the end of its useful life.
Those were the parameters that ultimately became the R-Series.
Because of our relationship with our incredible USA manufacturing partner, the infrastructure to process and recycle the boards is already in place.
That means when you're squeezed all the stoke out of your R-Series board, send it back to us and we will give you a discount on a new one and ensure that your well-loved board gets recycled instead of trashed.
In the meantime, keep enjoying your R-Series—care for it and repair it—enjoy it for a long time.  Surfboards are meant to be ridden, never sent to a landfill.
