In the Coming Days...

In the coming days, there will be a longboard contest at Lower Trestles ( @surf.relik ) and a true CT level @wsl contest in a man-made surfin’ pool (@kswaveco ). I’m not sure which of those two things would have been harder to predict 24 months ago.

As much as we embrace the heritage of surfing, we have to appreciate and embrace the change and evolution as well.

It’s a great time to be a surfer, and I think the brightest days are still ahead. Let’s take care of each other, and protect the future of our beaches. photo: @jeffrey_allee
