The First Official Meeting of the EOSC
Until last Wednesday, the Early & Often Surf Club was a theoretical club made up of surfers who have self-selected as preferring to catch their waves earlier and more often.
The club is not theoretical anymore.
Now it is a real good excuse for you to come paddle out with us once a month. That's right, our aim is to plan a monthly surf meetup. We will pick surf spots where we are unlikely to create a fuss, and mid-week mornings where a small-ish group of us can share a few waves and swap stories in the water.
Last Wednesday, we met up at one of our favorite local Newport jetties and took advantage of the offshore winds, empty lineup, and tail end of a six-week-straight run of pretty darn fun surf.
Jeff Allee was posted up on the jetty to document the inaugural gathering of the EOSC. The first meeting was a huge success, if you want to get on the invite list for February, you can register here.
