Twin Pheasant
The newest board in development around here is not the result of some conference room design meeting or late night think tank.
It's the result of your feedback.
We read the product reviews that you write—especially about surfboards.
One recurring thing that kept coming up was related to the R-Series Pleasant Pheasant—which, unlike the glassed version, has Futures fin boxes for side-bites.
Over the course of 18 months, we had about 5 people say some variation of the same thing: "Yoooo, you guys... just rode my Plez Phez as a twin fin and AYE WOOO!!! It really unlocks this thing! Ya'll should really start making these as a Twin!!!"
(I'm paraphrasing of course)
We are no strangers to the fact that mid-length twin fins are incredibly popular lately. Feedback on our own WTRP model has been overwhelmingly positive.
But it had not occurred to us to take our Pleasant Pheasant model and re-work it as a twin fin. So, here we are... officially a customer-driven innovation company.
This is the first prototype of a Pleasant Pheasant model designed specifically as a twin fin. I'd love to elaborate more on what Griffin did to refine it for the Twin, but it's 6:00 am on Saturday and there are waves right now, so I think I'm going to snag this thing, wax it up, and take it for a spin.
