Today we're excited to introduce a brand new addition to the R-Series line.
And believe it or not, it's not another mid-length or longboard.
But it will boost your wave count.
For years, our R-Series surfboards have been loved for their simplicity and ease of enjoyment. They paddle well, catch waves easily, and remove a lot of the friction that keeps you from getting in the water.
The challenge was building one that still felt playful and responsive once you were up and riding.
Enter the 6'0 Survey.
We've been building versions of this board in fiberglass for years. Now it's available in our rugged, USA-made R-Series construction.
At 46 liters, it floats significantly better than your trusty shortboard. But with down rails, a round tail, and yes—a thruster setup—it's also the liveliest and most responsive R-Series board we've built to date.
It's a board you can surf in the pocket, share with the kids, and still do a halfway decent turn every now and again.
The convenience and forgiveness of a foam board. A little closer to the feel of the shortboard you've been riding your whole life.
It's designed to be an active part of your quiver, and I have a feeling you will reach for it more often than you expect.
And as a bonus, we added a grab handle in the center so the groms can carry their own board to the beach. (You're welcome moms and dads).
