Experimental Trip to Central America
This board that Alex Swanson took to Costa Rica was originally a commission for Rich Knight and then ended up in the hands of Jack Martin then jack came home for Christmas and convinced us to trade it for a used Pleasant Pheasant, so we got the board back and lent it to Swanson.
The reason this is all relevant is because when this board came back into our possession, and we looked at with fresh eyes, it provided a renewed sense of inspiration.
The same board, viewed through new lenses a few years after we originally made it, provided the inspiration for the first Experimental Almond that we teased a little while ago. Part of a new series where we want to make more one-off board builds and share them to get feedback.
Also, Swanson takes the best selfies.
