What does a surfer do when all the conditions are perfect, but there's just no swell?

Well, the only logical thing to do...

Get the biggest board you can find and go for a paddle.

Worst case scenario, you stumbled into some empty ankle-slappers and get a few bonus waves to yourself.  And regardless, you get in the water, get the body moving, and get the heart pumping.  It beats an extra hour in the seated position somewhere.

Speaking of really big boards, I'm increasingly tempted to steal this 10'2 Cash-Yew II for myself.  It is now officially the biggest board in the racks, after its 11' brother went home with Jack Martin last week.
