On Saturday, February 21st we are hosting a two-part event with the very kind folks at the Almond Growers Board of California. (the real almond people)
As you may be aware, our surfboard label is named after California's biggest export: Almonds. (More on that here) So this has been an especially fun project for us to work on.
Pay attention, because there are going to be 2 custom surfboards raffled off at this event...
Part 1: Early & Often Surf Club
You should know the drill by now, once a month we drop a pin and invite you to join us in the water for a surf.
Saturday, February 21
8:00 to 10:00 am
32nd Street in Newport Beach
Bring a board to ride, and we will have a few extras to share.
Jeffrey Allee will be there snapping photos of the action.
Part 2: Almond Gathering at Almond Surf Shop
Coffee, Almond-based snacks, and swag provided (including a t-shirt with the above logo)
While supplies last, everyone in attendance will receive:
- A raffle ticket (with 2 chances to win a surfboard)
- An Almond x Almond t-shirt
- An Almond tote bag
It's going to be a great time. We're looking forward to sharing some waves & almonds with you next Saturday.
