In a tale as old as time, the waves were not quite as good as the surf forecast lead us to believe.  But we overcame the conditions with out-sized enthusiasm.

Unsurprisingly, the turnout on a Saturday morning was strong, and the energy in the water was high.

Griffin got the wave of the day (with dry hair) on a left that just kept building on itself, and building on itself, until it finally ended near the next jetty. Costa Coffee brought us some caffeinated beverages. And good times were had by all who chose to take the plunge into the brisk June water.
