This board rules. Have had a lot of fun with it. It's a wave-watching machine.

Systematic help

I have learned to surf waves 40+ years ago. For someone who's been surfing for years are well aware that it takes time and experience to understand each and every factors of surfboard work. Having this kind of systematic guide helps shorten the time to really understand what to expect and look for when you choose a right shape, right tail, right dimensions for a board for different types of waves. I already knew most of what's in the guide, but it is a good thing to check and confirm what I thought I have learned and see if hydrodynamics I have applied to understand surfboards is a right idea. Thanks for doing this.

I really appreciate the surfers guide, I’ve been surfing since I was 14 I’m 61 now, any information is a great thing . I’m very interested in the lumberjack with maybe a lil concave on the nose. I’d love to hear your opinion on that? You guys make a great product. Gary...

Almond Surfboards

Hi Gary, thanks for the feedback. We do have a blended nose concave on the Lumberjack. It gives lift without inhibiting glide.
