It is no secret that we love the lower jetties in Newport. It's a spot we've surfed as much as anywhere else over the years, and where we host most of our Early & Often Surf Club events.
If Blackies is the best longboard wave in town and the upper streets (56th) provide the best shortboard waves in town, the lower jetties just seem to bring the best mix of log-able, mid-lengthable, fish-able waves that suit our approach to surfing.
We're very pleased to share that we have a new pop-up on 32nd street in Newport Beach, right inside of 15th Street Surf + Supply.
15th Street is run by Dave & Cheryl Rosenberger, and they have two great locations. The original shop is on 15th street next door to the old Stuffed Surfer and the second one (the one we're in) is at 3138 W 32nd Street in Newport.
We're stoked to have a curated assortment of Almond goods so close to the water. Pop into 15th street and say hi. In addition to all of the beach essentials you could need, they have some of our favorite local brands: Slightly Choppy, Yucca, WHR, Birdwell, etc...
