We are giving you a downloadable PDF of the Kookumber template, so you can shape one yourself.

The Kookumber is a 70's inspired singlefin shortboard, with a slightly wider tail, and fuller outline, for generating speed in less than ideal conditions.

The softer or rollier a wave is, the wider your board needs to be, to harness enough energy to push you along... so the Kookumber blends some elements of down-the-line-minded 70's surfing, with an outline that allows you to surf it in small, playful surf.

Why are we offering the outline of one of our boards for free?

Because we think it is important that you are able to try your hand shaping yourself a surfboard, and we genuinely celebrate craftsmanship through-and-through.

We have spend the last 10+ years building surfboards to suit your needs, and improve your surfing experience, but we can't replace the appreciation and education that comes when you roll up your sleeves and try something for yourself.
