Drew's Yellow Special Recipe Fish

We just cooked up a new fish for Drew Meseck, one of our most valued and trusted sources of surfboard feedback. If you have ever watched Drew surf, you will know why he holds that distinction.

Drew has been surfing the living daylights out of several Secret Menus for the last few years; pushing the limits of what we thought possible on that board. 

Drew has always had a deep-seeded love for small, stumpy twin-fin fishes, so he asked Griffin to cook up a little Special Recipe Fish, incorporating some of his favorite elements of a few different boards.  The result was this Yellow Special Recipe Fish.

Here is the process, in Drew's on words:

I wanted a fish that can still trim on its own, yet turns on a dime any which way you point it.

First I wanted a Sandia Fish, then I wanted a Pogie Fish but with the rocker and volume of my secret menu. So we made a mix out of them all and the end result came out beautifully. We added double concave for channeling the water with the fins out the v off the wide swallow enabling more control.

Griffin nailed it as per usual.

Just take a Sandia and a Pogie, and put them in a blender, and then give it the rocker and foil of a Secret Menu, and you have Drew's new Yellow Special Recipe Fish. Early reports are strong, and if the weather and swell can figure out how to cooperate, I am sure we will have some great visual content to share.
