What you almost certainly did not know, is that a friend of mine from High School, Tanner Bendheim, has a DIY Surfboard Shaping YouTube channel—and it's really good.
Tanner has a full time career, but also has a deep love for surfing and surfboards, so he invites us into his self-built surfboard shaping shipping container for a variety of DIY projects—and his videos get many thousands (sometimes millions) of views.
We linked up with Tanner, gave him a surfboard blank, and he picked a 6'6 Pintail Mid-Length from our quiver of free templates.
