We started using the hashtag #twofeetandfiring several years ago to describe the surf here in Newport. Two Feet and Firing is both a reminder that even when the waves are small, it can still be really fun. It also serves as a harmless way of making fun of ourselves for surfing most of our sessions when it's under chest-high.
In order to help you gauge whether it's truly #twofeetandfiring we are proud to introduce the Two Feet and Firing Ruler. You may find that the waves are a little bigger than Two Feet, or perhaps a little smaller than Two Feet. But we've got you covered for anything in the ballpark of that magic 24" mark...
