Riding the Balsa Surf Thump

Took a midday break last week to surf the 9’4 Almond x Nine Lights balsa Surf Thump with @alex__swanson, who had his GoPro handy to capture the small, glassy conditions with excellent visibility.

Every time I looked down at the board, I was surprised how beautiful it looks in the water.  And it feels so fast down the line and lively under foot.  Even in small waves, it felt zippy.  Really looking. forward to putting more time in on this thing this year.
