If all you are using Surfline for is to get eyes on what the waves look like right now, you are leaving a lot of useful information on the table.
As a productive and well-rounded surfer, you need to be an expert at what makes your surf spot light up.
That means understanding what swell direction it likes, which tide it's best on, which wind direction it's protected from—and then using all the tools that Surfline has to offer to predict when those conditions are going to line up favorably. (So you know when to carve out time in your schedule to make sure you're there).
